Daniel Wyatt Obituary

Daniel L. "Dan" Wyatt, 75, passed away on August 21, 2025, after a 4-year battle with cancer. He was born October 26, 1949, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Paul and Doris Wyatt. After graduating from Central Catholic High School in 1968, Dan became a tool and die maker, later retiring from Stamets Tool and Die. He enjoyed watching sports (Packers, Komets, Orioles) and racing (NASCAR, NHRA). The Upper Peninsula of Michigan was Dan's favorite vacation destination. He treasured the time spent with family, especially his grandson, his favorite car-show buddy. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Robert) Hines; grandson, Dominic; his two brothers, Philip (Joni) Wyatt and Lawrence (Kimberly) Wyatt; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents and his brother, David (Julie) Wyatt. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Parkview Oncology and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Dan throughout his battle. A special thanks to Phil, who spent many hours helping to care for his brother. Per Dan's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers or donations, the Wyatt family encourages everyone to take extra care of yourselves and your loved ones and see your doctor! Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, Fort Wayne is caring for arrangements. Condolences and memories of Dan may be left online at www.hockemeyermillerfh.com
