While I will be unable to attend the celebration on Sunday, I, too, want to share that my memories of David are of a smiling, engaging young man that enjoyed life. He was loved by many and will be missed.

I was very sad to hear that another young one such as David has lost his battle with cancer.
I was Davids bus driver for about 3 years and liked David. He was nice and very easy to get along with. He will surely be missed, may you rest in Peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of David Elsey. For the short time he was lent us on earth he sure was a true inspiration, I thoroughly enjoyed him as did everyone in New Haven . I will never forget you, until we meet again David!

I am very saddened to hear that Davis lost his battle with cancer. I'm sure his body was weary and needed a rest. I know our good lord promises us a pain free Heaven and David's body will now be free of that pain . David was such a sweet little boy in kindergarden all the way up to the 5th grade. David always had a smile on his face and David always brought a smile to my face along with
many others. When I picture David in Heaven that is how I will always remember him. A life with out pain and lots of happiness. To the Elzys and Forks please take comfort in knowing he only takes the best!

I am so sorry to hear of David's tragic passing at such a young age. It was a quite a shock to me that he had cancer very early in his life span. No one deserves to die this young. Even though I didn't know you or David, he seemed to be a very nice and handsome young man. Just be happy to know that all of his pain and suffering is now over and he is now at peace forever. David will be missed by everyone, myself included, and also all of his friends and teachers at Northrop High School. You now have a very special angel watching over you. David will want you to stay close together as a family and always keep your heads up. Don't think of him as gone forever, just think of all the good times you had together. May God be with you during this very difficult time to guide you and bless you in your time of sorrow and also in the days and weeks ahead. Forever you'll be in my thoughts & prayers.
