DAVID HARTSTEIN Obituary

DAVID HARTSTEIN, 63, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, with his wife by his side. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked at Joslyn/Slater Steel for 31 years, then C.M.E. Mitsuba in Monroeville. He loved to golf and often referred to it as his "visit with God." The true joy of his life was spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Nancy Oswald Hartstein; son, Paul D. Hartstein; grandchildren, Alex and Savannah; sisters, Betty Wynn, Dee (George) Kumfer, and Rose Lee; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marsha Martin Hartstein in 1991; parents, Walter and Agnes Hartstein; and brothers-in-law, Dale Wynn and Chet Lee. Celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday Sept. 11, 2011 at the V.F.W. Post 857, 2202 W. Main St., Fort Wayne. Memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Parkview Hospice Care. To Nancy and Paul and the entire Hartstien family, very sorry to hear of your loss I work for Dave for many years and he was such a nice person. I will miss seeing him in the park as I take my walk,seeing him and Big Chuck playing golf.
