Claire: Just a note to send you hugs. Ididn't know the paper made this kind of thing available. I will always remember singing those sappy old songs. Dave was such a wonderfully generous man. I will miss his welcoming presence.

Dave and I went to CCJHS and had just renewed our friendship in the last years-- He was a wonderful writer and I looked forward to his travels, vacations, and just hearing about his family. What a guy-- he will be missed-- and always remembered fondly.

I will always remember Dave as a kind person. Whenever I saw him, he had a smile on his face. I became acquainted with him thru Carlyle. As the receptionist, I always got to see him when he came in, and it was a joy to see him. It was absolutely wonderful when he announced that he would be taking pictures at our golf tournament. He was a wonderful photographer. Every time that I look at the photos from the past tournaments I will remember him. I miss talking to him.

To the family of David Edward Stauffer,
I first met Dave in 1995 while working for a local communications contractor in Everett, WA. Dave’s honest approach to business, a passion for our industry, coupled with his belief in OCC products quickly earned my business and friendship. Whether we were working on a project, talking about sailing over lunch, or him snapping pictures at the Carlyle Golf Tournament, I always enjoyed being around him.
Dave was a great man who will continue to live in our hearts. His passion for life and genuine love of people is his living legacy. It is a legacy that has been passed on to many of us. I am grateful and richer in life to have known Dave…. Dave, your friendship was a distinct honor and privilege in my life. May you be sailing with the sun in your face, your sail full of wind and a song in your heart of all the lives you touched here on earth.
Sincerely,
Jon Stomberg
