Dolores Kindred Obituary

Dolores C. "Dee" Kindred, 91, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on July 20, 2025, She was born in Fort Wayne on August 26, 1933. Dee was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of '51. She married William "Bill" E. Kindred in 1954, and they raised 2 children and enjoyed 64 years together. Dee sang bass in the Sweet Adelines and made many friends selling Avon. She is survived by her children, Dr. Michael (Pam) Kindred and Laura (Sal Zagani) Ford; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Louis Freiburger; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kindred; parents, Othmer and Marcella Miller; and sister Carol Ann Freiburger. A funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at St. Anne Retirement Home, 1900 Randallia Dr., Ft. Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne with a Rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. Burial at Catholic Cemetery, Ft. Wayne. Condolences can be left at www.divinemercyfuneralhome.com.
