DUSTIN BRADY Obituary

DUSTIN ANDREW BRADY, 32, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Feb. 2, 2017 and fought hard until he lost his battle. He was far too young to go so early. Born in Fort Bragg, N.C. on Aug. 31, 1984, he was the son of Douglas "Doug" Alan Brady and Elizabeth "Beth" Ann (Smith) Brady, who survive. Dustin married Michelle (Middleton) on Sept. 3, 2011 in Fort Wayne, Ind. He graduated from Blackford High School in 2002. He had attended Ball State University and also received an Associate's Degree from Ivy Tech in General Studies. Dustin was a truly special man with a "Go Big or Go Home" mentality. He always put others before himself with a smile on his face, which was contagious. He had an amazing ability to make everyone in the room feel welcomed. He enjoyed life and loved to make people laugh, he joked around continuously. He loved his dogs, Lulu and Dottie. Most of his friends know him as "Brady". He loved sports and his favorite teams came from Chicago, the Cubs and the Bears. He collected hats and shoes. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Michelle Brady of Columbus, Ohio; father and mother, Doug and Beth Brady of Hartford City; brother, Derrick A. (Kylie) Brady of Muncie; father and mother in-law, Brian and Carol Middleton of Avilla, Ind.; several extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Lastly he will be missed by the many friends he has made over the years. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City. Pastor Gary Hall officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wed., February 22, 2017 at the funeral home. Dustin will be cremated. Memorials may be made to Keplinger Funeral Home for Funeral Expenses, 509 N. High St., Hartford City (IN 47348). Online condolences may be made to www.keplingerfuneralhome.com
