EVERETT BROWN Obituary

EVERETT LLOYD "BROWNIE" BROWN, 86, of Fort Wayne, previously of The Villages, Fla., and Payne, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017. Born May 15, 1931, in Monroe ville, Ind., Everett was the was the son of the late Nellie Baker Brown Beezley and Lawrence Brown. Everett retired from the Air Force in 1972 after serving for 20 years as a meteorologist. He continued his work as a meteorologist with the Civil Service at Fort Wayne International Airport until retiring in 1986. He had always enjoyed a good game of euchre, having played in August with his grandson and sons. He still used his computer daily for email and keeping financial spreadsheets. Everett's survivors include his children, Larry (Joni) Brown of Fort Wayne, Kevin Brown of Indianapolis, Karen (Steve) Elliott of St. Augustine Fla., and Doug (Kaori) Brown of Kailua Hawaii; grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Riebe and Jae-Sun Brown; great-grandchildren, Mae and Walter Riebe; and sister, Rita Adam of Convoy, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Salway) Brown, in 2014. Per Everett's wishes, no formal services will be held. Preferred memorials to donor's choice.
