F. Lawburgh Obituary

F. PAULINE LAWBURGH, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 at Parkview Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1926 in Rushville, Ind. She retired in 1985 as a Home Economics Teacher for East Allen County Schools. She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church. "She will be remembered for her leadership in 4-H, presence in the classroom, enthusiastic support of Purdue Football and Basketball, care given to Bob, love for her family and faith in God." Surviving are daughters, Dr. Pam K. (Alan) Keltyka of Akron, Ohio and Jennifer S. Lawburgh of Columbia City; brother, Robert Dickson of Alexandria, Ind.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. in March of 2006; and a sister, Marjorie Siler. Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Simpson United Methodist Church, 2501 S. Harrison St., with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also from 2 to 5 Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to the Church or Allen County 4-H.

I knew your mother when I worked as the Family Caregiver Director at Aging & In-Home Services. She attended a support group that I facilitated at Sarah Adult Daycare. She was one of the finest ladies I had the pleasure of meeting.
