1963 - 2022

GARY A. GOODRICH, 58, of Huntertown, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, surrounded by his family, at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. orn Sept. 2, 1963 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Paul Goodrich, and Alice Goodrich - Monce, who survives. Gary worked at INDOT as a signal technician. He was also a member of the Adams Township Fire Department for 10 years as well as a reserve officer with the Allen County Sheriff's Department for over 20 years. He enjoyed tinkering on classic cars and being by the water sitting in the sun. Gary loved his animals, spending time with his family, and making memories with his grandchildren. Gary is also survived by his wife of 30 years, Michelle Newbury Goodrich; children, Dr. Logan (Taylor) Goodrich and Lauren (Samuel) Goodrich-Seltzer; grandchildren, Natalya Seltzer and Scarlett Seltzer; siblings, Kathy (Aaron Boettcher) Fox and Deborah (Mark) Black; nephew, Colin Supples. Funeral service is 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., with calling from 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
