Glenn Sprinkle Obituary

GLENN M. SPRINKLE, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004. Born Feb. 20, 1912, in Lafayette Township, he retired in 1974 as a laser machine operator for Indiana Wire & Die. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, traveling and reading. Surviving are his wife, Melba M. Sprinkle of Fort Wayne; sons, David R. Sprinke of Swayzee, Michael W. Sprinkle of Fort Wayne; daughter, Nancy A. Herber of Fort Wayne; brother, Morris H. Sprinkle of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stacey Lynn Sprinkle. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, with visitation half an hour prior, at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne. Visitation is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Peace Lutheran Church.

Our deepest sympathies to Glenn's family. We fondly remember all the time spent with him and his stories told at family reunions. We will surely miss him greatly. All of his family are in our prayers. The memories he created will comfort all of us.
