Gloria Edwards Obituary

Gloria J. Edwards, 80, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on October 16, 2023, at her home with family by her side. Gloria had amazing strength while battling Parkinson's for nearly a decade. Born July 28, 1943, in LaPorte, she was the daughter of Charles and Eleanor (Hunter) Price. She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1961. Gloria married Don Edwards on October 29, 1963, in Syracuse. Gloria and Don spent most of their lives in the Fort Wayne area. She worked several years at Target as well as occasionally helping and always supporting Don with Edwards Sewing Center. Gloria's passion was spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them at various events. She looked forward to cheering on her favorite sports teams including Notre Dame football, Indiana University basketball, and the New York Yankees.

Gloria is survived by her two daughters, Teri (Charles) Fear of Leo, and Lisa (Chad) Kohli of Auburn; daughter in law Rachelle Edwards of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Dee Pifer of Warsaw, and Sandi Lung of Pierceton; and brother Gary Price of Syracuse. Also surviving are grandchildren Brandon (Sarah) Fear of Columbia City, Rachel (Robert) Luker of Stokesdale, North Carolina, Justin (Autumn) Fear of Fort Wayne, Mari (Blake) Villa of Fort Worth, Texas, Matthew (Anna) Fear of Grabill, Cameron (Brooke) Kohli of Fort Wayne, Jeremy (Shelby) Kohli of Woodburn, Cassandra Kohli of Auburn, Lexi Miller of Warsaw, and Lauren Fear of Leo; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; son, Scott Edwards; and brother, Larry Edwards.

Funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will also be held from 3pm-7pm, Friday October 20, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier. Contributions in Gloria's memory may be directed to Michael J.
