Gregory P. Frericks

The following obituary is being republished to provide information regarding services. GREGORY P. FRERICKS, 45, died Thursday, April 1, 2004. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne and Lake Wawasee, he was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School and Xavier University. He was the president of Frericks Insur-ancenter, Fort Wayne, and a member of The Professional Insurance Association (PIA). He was active in the parishes of St. John the Baptist, Fort Wayne, and St. Martin de Porres, Syracuse. He was a member of The National Eagle Scout Association, was past-president of the Board of Directors of Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne, and enjoyed his committee work for The Morrison Island Association at Lake Wawasee. Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Frericks and Emma Frericks, both of Fort Wayne; father and stepmother, Arthur C. and Margaret Frericks of Stuart, Fla. and Lake Wawasee; brothers, Justin Frericks of Syracuse and Peter Frericks of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Rose Ryles of Hollywood, Fla. and Mary Dempsey of Fairfax, Va. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Frericks, in 2001. Mass of Christian Resurrection is 11 a.m. Friday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 S. Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, where friends may call one hour prior to Mass. Calling is also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with the rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Burial at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
