BOB & JIM
George Bob Davis
December 7, 2020
Jim & I were BEST FRIENDS for 70 years. Our families were so close that my kids called him Uncle Jim and his kids called me Uncle Bob. I named my son after him. Our families were together on most of the Holidays. On the 4th of July we would have a picnic in our back yard. We could see the fireworks at McMillen Park. The kids enjoyed eating our raspberries. At Christmas, Jim & I enjoyed playing with the kid's toys at his house. One New Years Day, we fried our steaks on a grill in his front yard when the temperature was below zero. All I have now are memories.

Jim and I were class of '52 Ft. Wayne South where he was an outstanding varsity basketball team player. Later on visits to our home town I found Jim to be a gentle/caring dentist. He will be and is missed.

Uncle Jim was a lifelong friend of my father, George Bob Davis. Our families were very close and often celebrated holidays with them. As Uncle Jim was a Dentist, during high school, college and beyond, I would visit him and Aunt Dee just because. They both meant the world to me, as does the rest of the family. You are all in my love and prayers. Both Jim and Dee had infectious laughs that I'll never forget. Love to all of you, Tami Davis Sacco

Dr. Jim was a dear friend of my fathers, and I went to grade school with Brenna. they lived just down the street from us and I was at their home frequently. Mrs. Ruble taught me how to make chocolate chip cookies and the first time I ever had cooked spinach was at their house! Dr. Jim also was our family dentist. I have fond memories of him and his family and my deepest sympathies go out to his children and grandchildren. He went to school with my dad (Warren Anderson) and was a good friend to our family.

Dr. Ruble made going to the dentist a pleasure for me. We carried on an Indiana vs. Purdue friendly war for all the years that he took care of my teeth. My sincere condolences to the family. RIP
