Janet Kay Bulmahn

Janet Kay Bulmahn, 79, of New Haven, IN, passed away on January 17, 2024, she was born in Fort Wayne to the late Clarence and Elsie Koenig. She graduated from New Haven High School in 1962 and was a member of the National Honor Society. After high school, Janet was employed by International Harvester for 12 years before taking time to raise her family. She later returned to the work force as a legal secretary and obtained her paralegal degree. Janet continued in the legal field until retirement. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, she enjoyed fishing, cooking for her family, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Bulmahn of New Haven, IN; children, David (Jill) Bulmahn of Fort Wayne, and Sara (Nickolas) Scavone of New Haven, IN; and two grandchildren, Lauren Bulmahn and Amanda Scavone. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St. New Haven, IN, 46774 with calling one hour prior. Calling also 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the church. Burial at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or Central Lutheran School.
