JEAN BRADTMILLER Obituary

JEAN ANN (STRAHM) BRADTMILLER, 94 (years young), passed on to the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, in Brandon, Fla., due to Covid. Born in Ada, Ohio, she was a daughter of Von and Gertrude (Montgomery) Strahm. She worked as one of the original Rosie the Riveters during World War II at a tank factory. After the war she met and married her sweetheart, Wayne, settling in Fort Wayne to raise their family. She was truly a people person and worked serving others at places like Alexander's, El Azteca and Ober's Business Equipment. She enjoyed her years at her lake cottage, cooking and entertaining family and friends until she and Wayne moved to Florida. She always loved being with family and will be missed by her daughter, Karen (Earl) Cowdrey; sons, Dan (Pam), Dave (Theresa) and Kenneth Duke (Ros); 17 grandchildren, 58 greats, 10 great-greats, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; brother, Maurice; sister, MaryLou Hullinger; and great-grandson, Justin Mosley. Services at a later date in Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cancer Society or The Women's Care Center.
