Joan Brames Obituary

JOAN C. BRAMES, 67, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Heritage Park Health Care Center. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker and enjoyed spending the summers at Lake James, boating and being with the grandkids. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Richard L. of Fort Wayne; children, Donna (Kevin) Hieber of Grabill, Mike D. Brames of Pleasant Lake, Annette (Jeff) Buzzard of New Haven, Carolyn (Andy) Fultz of Angola and Susan (David) Rodenbeck of Grabill; brother, William (Laura) Van Allen of New Haven; nine grandchildren; and six great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Caroline Van Allen, brother, Jackie Van Allen, and grandson, Jerry Henderson II. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, with calling one hour prior, at St. Jude Catholic Church, E. State Blvd. at Randallia Drive. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, with Vigil Service at 3:30 p.m., at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Cancer Services of Allen County or League For The Blind & Disabled.
