John Brower Obituary

John D. Brower, 61, of Fort Wayne, passed away on August 28, 2024, He was born on December 30, 1962, in Fort Wayne to the late Robert James Brower and Juanita (Roembke) Scheimann. He is survived by his wife, Denise (Kreienbrink), to which he had been married for 42 years. John spent his career as a lighting sales representative, most recently at Professional Lighting Services. In his free time, John enjoyed "everything" sports, from teaching his children to play golf, to coaching their basketball teams. John was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, IU Basketball and loved to play softball for the 412 club. Above all else, John loved his family, always being sure they were the center of his focus. In addition to his loving wife, John is also survived by his children, Jake (Danae) Brower, Cam (Jamie) Brower and Brooke (Kris) Kosich; grandchildren, Evelyn, Kennedy, Brielle, Bryce, Mason and Mack; and siblings, Nora Brower, Cheryl Young, James Brower and Thomas Brower. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Theresa Porter. A Celebration of John's Life will be Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Fort Wayne Turners, 3636 Parnell Ave., Fort Wayne. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. before the Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Heart to Heart Hospice.
