Cindy and family. My most sincere condolences. While I did not know John well on a personal basis my interactions with him on a professional level indicated to me he was a decent man with a good heart. May God bless you and help you through this difficult time.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathies to Cindy and family.

Although we had never met, John regularly prayed for and asked Dawn C. about the progress my daughter Tiffany, who has/had Multiple Sclerosis and had been confined to a wheelchair for over 3 years. (In her most recent MRI, she had no sign of MS, and now is able to walk.) We believe that John's generosity of time, faith and devotion in prayer strengthened and healed her and enabled her to walk again. We feel we “knew” him well from Dawn's stories about his kindness so we know he will be missed so much by all that knew him.

Cindy, we hope you can take some solace in the fact that God in his mercy has John in Heaven, where there is no pain - only peace and love. We will hold you and your family in our prayers during this very difficult time.

With love,

Cindy and Family

It was my privilege to work with John 9 years, most of those having an office right next door. He was an outstanding lawyer, a kind man, and always had time to help younger lawyers. My sincerest sympathies to you and your family.

Words are hard to find - our faith will keep us all going. We would have loved to see him when he gave the Lord the "peace sign" and God said "job well done". He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Cindy and family, you may not remember me, but I moved to Fort Wayne 2001 and worked at Barrett & McNagny with John. I just wanted to say how sad I was to hear about the passing of our brother in the Lord, John. Stay in faith, keep trusting the Lord. I'm praying for you and your family. Be blessed.

Cindy, we are all so saddened by John's passing. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time of loss. I feel comforted by the knowledge that I know God will take care of each of us in a time of illness - by either healing us, or taking us Home.

I know your faith will help get you through this time, as you are well aware of how much He loves you.

Keep looking up, Diane Drake
