JUSTIN HINEN Obituary

JUSTIN EDWARD HINEN, 21, of Columbia City, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, as a result of a early morning snowmo biling accident north of Columbia City. Born Jan. 29, 1992, in Columbia City, he was a son of Jeffery L. and Cynthia A. (Schenkel) Hinen. He graduated from Columbia City High School and just recently completed his associate's degree in business and marketing at Baker College. He was employed at the family business, Hinen Printing. His memberships included St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, F.F.A., Eel River Pheasants Forever, N.R.A. and 10 year member of Whitley County 4-H Inc. Surviving relatives include his parents, Jeff and Cindy of Columbia City; siblings, Jeremy Hinen and Jennifer Hinen, both of Columbia City; grandparents, Dale and Sharon Hinen and Joan Schenkel Hinen, all of Columbia City; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Hinen of Columbia City. He was preceded in death, by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Schenkel; and step-grandfather, Chuck Hinen. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 315 South Line St., Columbia City, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
