LAURA JAXTHEIMER Obituary

LAURA J. JAXTHEIMER, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, surrounded by her family. Born April 7, 1958 in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was a daughter of Howard and Betty Gremaux. After graduating from Bishop Luers High School in 1976, she attended beauty college and spent the last 17 years of her career in banking. Laurie was a devoted wife to Scott for over 37 years. She was a caring dedicated mother, proud grandmother, amazing sister and aunt, a wonderful friend to so many. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, reading, watching sports, traveling, holidays and family dinners. Laurie is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Jaxtheimer; three children, Jessica (Lance) Dixson, Jacob (Amy) Jaxtheimer, Jillian (Marquis) Jaxtheimer; nine grandchildren; sister, Debbie Finley; brother-in-law, Tom (Jenny) Jaxtheimer; and forever remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A visitation in memory of Laurie starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., followed by a private family funeral service at 11 a.m. Face coverings required.
