LOGAN ROETH Obituary

LOGAN EILENE ROETH, of North Hollywood, Calif., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at her home. Born Dec. 17, 1990, in Pontiac, Mich., she was the daughter of Mike and Letty (Brels ford) Roeth of Fort Wayne (both formerly of Piqua, Ohio). Logan grew up in Fort Wayne attending Arlington Elementary, Jefferson Middle School and Northrop High School. After many college visits, she fell in love with Ball State University, where she not only excelled in academics, but made dear, lifelong friends, of whom all visited from across the country after her Melanoma diagnosis. While studying in London, she could travel and visit Paris, Rome and was particularly enchanted with the Isle of Capri vowing to go back someday. She acted on her dreams by moving to Hollywood and having a successful career in the television industry, most recently as media manager for Electus. She grew up loving all sports, participating in softball, volleyball, basketball and tennis. At age 10 she took her first English riding lesson and soon many hours were spent at the barn riding and hanging out with great friends. Born into an Ohio State family, she loved the Buckeyes. After moving to LA, Logan became a faithful Dodger fan and was excited about the return of the Rams to her new hometown this year. She was always the efficiency expert and organizer, from planning Secret Santa to her Fantasy Football league. If Logan said she was going to do something, you knew it would get done and done well. "All is temporary. It should all be joy." - LER. She is survived by her parents; fianc‚e, Tessa Yandell of North Hollywood, Calif.; brothers, Ryan (Chereasa) Roeth and Colin (Elena) Roeth; niece, Makenzie Roeth of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Mel and Marilyn Roeth and Vivian Brelsford of Piqua, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life is from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne. Service is 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at Messiah Lutheran on Stellhorn Road. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the City of Hope Hospital. cityofhope.org; and the Melanoma Research Foundation melanoma.org.
