MARCELLA J. PEPPLER

MARCELLA J. PEPPLER, 86, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016. Jesus sent his angels for our beloved mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Fort Wayne on Jan. 19, 1930. At a very young age her parents moved to a farm near Edon, Ohio, where she grew up and graduated at the age of 18. She then moved back to Fort Wayne, and acquired a job at General Electric. On April 30, 1949, she married John Peppler. She also worked at Lincoln Food Service, Cavanaugh Consulting, and several churches. Surviving are her children, Dan (Kathy) Peppler and Steve Peppler; grandchildren, Paula (Jeff) Clifford, Michelle Peppler, Andy (Melissa) Peppler, John Peppler, and Kristina (Stan) Day; great-grandchildren, Karah Peppler, Jensen and Karina Peppler, Clayton, Chase, Carson and Ciara Clifford, Madison, Grant, Dylan and JP Peppler, and Henry Day; daughter-in-law, Sally Peppler; and significant other, James Pallick. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Peppler; parents, Marion and Esther Dirr; husband, John Peppler; and sister, Joan Poe. Funeral service is noon Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, with visitation two hours prior, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Private burial to take place at a later date.
