MARILYN LOUISE BREDEMEYER

MARILYN LOUISE BREDEMEYER, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2022. Marilyn was born May 2, 1932 in Fort Wayne, Ind. to the late Clarence and Dorothy Lucille (Walter) Strater. She was a graduate of Elmhurst High School. She later spent nearly 20 years working as a billing clerk at Lutheran Hospital. She was a longtime member at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She very much enjoyed being with family and friends. Surviving family include her sons, Steven (Sue Hackett) and James (Angela) Bredemeyer; grandchildren, Charles, Aubrey, Graham, Anissa, Brent, and Alena; great-grandchildren, Sylvie, Micah, and Rory; and sister, Marcia Partridge. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Elmer T. Bredemeyer; daughter, Susan Bredemeyer; daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Bredemeyer; sister, Mary Ann Schoenemann; and brother, Edwin Strater. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd,, Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
