I worked with Mark at Turtle Creek Convalecent Center where he was the activity director during the early seventies. He planned dances, style shows, volleyball games, and craft shows that the residents loved. He was so creative and fun and everyone enjoyed working with him!

We didn't know Mark as an adult but he came from a good family. His sister, Mary Ann Shepherd, was my dear sister-in-law and passed 51 years ago on thanksgiving day. She and Larry will always be missed.

rip dear friend Mark was a wonderful nurse that cared for his residents like no one else I have fond memories of this man

My husband and I were in total shock and so saddened to hear of Mark's passing. Mark was my Mothers nighttime nurse. What a beautiful man Mark was. Excellent at what he did, so compassionate and full of humor. He was so good to my Mother, and me too. Many times I would watch him interacting with his residents bringing me to tears at his kindness and how he knew just how to handle each personality. He will have many angels who have gone before coming to greet him I am sure. I know my Mamma will have been at the front of the line. Much sympathy to you Ron, and all of Mark's loved ones. My heart breaks for you. Denise Hofer
