Matt was such an amazing friend and was always there to talk to and will never forget meeting him. Always knew how to make me smile when I was down and always gave me best advice. Will be missed so much.

I am so sorry to the family for their loss, my Heart breaks for James and Amanda . I worked with Matt and he was always making us laugh one way or another, even if you was having a bad day he would try to make you laugh, all he wanted was being the best dad he could be to James and Amanda and provide for them with what he could. He will be missed by SO.... Many!!
Wayne Combustion lost a really Good Worker, Tester, Lead man & Problem Solver, and A Silly,Goofy, Fun guy. If I was not in QC and Matt came down I always knew he was there because he would draw me a silly drawing on a Post-it note and stick it on my computer screen, or do something funny or silly and leave it so I knew he was there , those Post-it notes and silly things would Always make me smile, he would always come snag some candy and act little a little sneaky kid while doing it , knowing I didn't care but he just was always being silly and funny. And he Always had to have his gallon jug of coffee with him at work . Matthew you are going to be missed by many. I pray for his Family and James and Amanda. I pray that God wraps his arms around those children and give them the best future and that they are protected and cared for and blessed in life with A great home, family and Love, I pray these children get through life as well as possible and they grow up to be blessed with careers, homes, and loving .

The world has lost a kind and gentle soul. I knew Matt in passing, always extraordinarily polite and helpful. The first couple times I met him, I was in a wheelchair from hip surgery and he always went above and beyond to make things easier for me at JROTC events. He even helped me fix my hair once, when my bun fell at our home drill meet. He will be missed, he always strived to make the world around him a better place, and I'll always be gracious of his kindness.

I am so sad to hear of the loss of Matthew. I remember him from when I taught junior high. He was always a kind gentle guy. He also could always crack the class up. I will never forget Matthew pulling out his glass eye to show the girls his eye. This was during lunch of course.

I have been really good friends with Matt that no one remembers. I think that was Matt's doing. I will miss his goofy ways he acted to make a person smile when he want them to relax. He had over come so much in his life and we are better for knowing him. I will love and miss him.

I just learned of Matt's passing and am in shock! I haven't seen him or the kids in 3-4 years but used to watch the kids from time to time, since they were born. I can't imagine what they are going through at their young ages. I know how hard it was to lose my dad when I was 17 and he was 38 but they are still so young. My prayers to the family.
