Dear Lisa and Tracy,
Words cannot adequately express the depth of the sorrow we feel for you and your family at this most difficult time.
Matthew exemplified "God, Family, Country." It is already evident that his life, which ended far too soon for all of us, is serving as an inspiration to not only family and friends but also our community and country.
Please know that God, Family, Friends, and Country stand with you as you deal with this immeasurable loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and friends. My son is a 21 yr old Marine... we are from Griffith, IN. so I know you´ve worried everyday about him and his safety. I´m truly sorry for your loss. There are no words...

We are sadden by the loss of such a young man. He gave his life so we can live free. We are proud of him. My husband is a navy vet but all of us are one.

During this time of the unexplained and trying to find the right words of comfort. Know that Captain Matthew is now "Angel Matthew" and he is still there from afar but in a safe and secure place. He has given you memories and will show signs to you that he is okay and know we will never forget him. We will continue to pray for your family.
