Max Jenkins Obituary

MAX E. JENKINS JR., 53, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at his home. Born June 5, 1951, in Fort Wayne, he worked for King Construction for 16 years. He was a member of Harley Davidson-The Escorts and Fish Tournaments-Bass and Buddies for 17 years. Surviving are his wife, Leesa Jenkins; mother, Evelyn (Frank) McCabe of Crossville, Tenn.; daughter, Melody Gaunt of Fort Wayne; sisters, Judy McCutcheon of Hixson, Tenn. and Pat Comez of Fort Wayne; brother, Earl H. Jenkins of Crossville, Tenn.; stepchildren, Sarah, Katie, Annie, Gabby and Matt Gaunt, all of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Justin and Zack Call and Brook and Jacob Gaunt of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Sr., in in 1989. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Service. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials to Cancer Services of Allen County.
