Faith, Jan, Bill and Tuttie:

Thank you for sharing a wonderful tribute to your dad today. And, a special salute to your children. It brought back so many memories even for me. Although I have not seen Max in many years, I, and everyone who knew him, will always feel blessed and loved by his presence in our lives.

Don't we all have a story of our favorite memory at "the lake?" (This is for you, Jan) He tried not to, but he did have a twinkle in his eye.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Cindy

We extend our sympathy to the family of Max Messman. We have known Max for many years from our acquantence as neighbors at Lake James, and will miss him and his wife, Ruth. We remember Max as one who was kind and cheerful, even during the difficult times. His faith in God was expressed during periodic discussions with him. May God richly bless you in the days ahead.

Jan-

So sorry to read of your parent's death in such a short period of time. The obituary stated your Father was preceded in death by "the love of his life"...his wife. Isn't is good to know they are together again and have no health problems? You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sympathy to your family for the loss of Max and Ruth in such a short time. I saw them both last summer at the Nursing home when I was visiting my sis, Doris Doehrman. Love to all.
