I remember when I was in high school, Max had spoken to me about the BIBLE. Max had answered my many, many questions about faith. I was baptized at Harvester Avenue Missionary Church due to Max and his teachings. Today, I feel I am a better man, father and Christian.. all due to Max. Thank you Max…Praying for the Wanner family.

We knew Max as a great friend, and as Central District Board Secretary, as Talent Quest Director at our Youth Conventions, as a wonderful organist, as a wise counselor with the gift of holy laughter! Max would help anyone - and did! There is no one on earth that can take his place, but what a wonderful addition he is to heaven's musical team! What a joyful ministering angel he is! Our prayers ascend to God for dear Rachel and all the Wanner family. Sincerely with our love.

You helped to shepherd me in the early days of my faith. You married Rob and me and baptized me. You had that all knowing twinkle in your eyes that invited fellowship. Without a doubt you are praising the Lord in song now. Thank you Max for the imprint you left behind.
Rachel, May you feel the touch of God's hand on you now to carry you through the days to come. God bless.

My sincere condolences to the family of Max. Neysa, his daughter, was one of my students at Bethlehem and I fondly remember her dad as a wise and caring man.

May his family know that he is with Jesus in heaven.
