Michael Cunkle Obituary

MICHAEL W. CUNKLE, 50, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Homer, Mich., passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at his home. Born Nov. 17, 1955, in Albion, Mich., he was the son of Harold L. and Mary Lou (Miller) Cunkle, who survive in Homer, Mich. He was a 1974 graduate of Homer High School. He work-ed for Fisher Body, Kalamazoo since 1974. Then from 1987 to present he worked at General Motors, Fort Wayne. He married Bonnie Moyer on March 24, 2001; she survives in Fort Wayne. He was a member of U.A.W. He enjoyed fishing, camping, vacations, bird watching and loved to play guitars with his brothers. Also surviving are his daughters, Michelle Dykstra of Battle Creek, Mich., Angela Mills of Fort Wayne, Sonny Cunkle of Homer, Mich., Victoria Cunkle of Coldwater, Mich. and Valerie Burns of Spring Arbor, Mich.; sons, Michael Cunkle and Kurtis Cunkle, both of Coldwater, Mich.; brothers, Jim (Terri) Cunkle of Homer, Mich., Steve Cunkle of Fremont, Dan (Terri) Cunkle of Jonesville, Mich. and David (Lisa) Cunkle of Homer; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral service was 3 p.m. Wednesday at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Homer, Mich. Memorials to the family.
