MICHAEL SHANE WALTON

MICHAEL SHANE WALTON, 43, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, in Lenoir City, Tenn. Born in Kendall-ville, Ind. Michael graduated from East Noble High School as well as ITT Technical Institute where he earned his bachelor's degree. He had been working at Carlex Glass for 17 years. Michael had a passion for music. He was a talented drummer and was involved in Marching Band, as well as Drum and Bugle Corp. His other hobbies included photography, traveling, and most of all spending time with his wife and children. Surviving are his wife, Stephanie Walton of Fort Wayne; children, Brennen Walton of Kendallville, Mallary and Jake Nahrwold, both of Fort Wayne; mother, Doretta Kilgore of Auburn; father-in-law, Stacey (Sharon) Dawalt; sister-in-law, Sheila (Shane) Barth; brothers-in-law, Matt (Kari) Dowdy and John (Trina) Dowdy; along with many nieces and nephews. Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery, Huntertown, Ind. Memorials may be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
