I just found out about Monique's death today, November 17, 2012. It was definitely a shock to me. Monique was married to my brother James, and I can recall the happy moments we shared. She was full of fun and a joy to be around. My belated condolences are offered to the Barksdale family, May we keep her in our memories forever.

I met Monique and her sister Tracy along with their Mother Barbara in Colorado Springs Co. My heart is sadden right now, for the longest i had been looking for Monique the last time we spoke she lived in Marietta Ga. My deepest sympathy goes out to all her family members, she truly was the sweetest person i ever met she was so fun, outgoing and at times silly but i loved her like a sister. Monique i really wish we could have seen each other here on earth. I'll be looking for you in our Fathers house one day. Much love MoMo.

I send you my deepest i was in Mo's math class at the college she was one of the most kindness person i've meet at this school since i've been here i'm sad to find out about her passing i was wondering where was my study parther i can remember when she got her first math problem right and she was so happy she sent a picture to her son she really touch my heart in my short time of meeting her

Monique was a student in my fifth grade class at Weisser Park Elementary. She was always ready with a smile and, perhaps, a little bit of mischief. I loved having her for a student. I am sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.
