Nick Fleming

NICK FLEMING, DVM, 54, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, in Bristol, Tenn. Nick was born Sept. 11, 1949, the son of Norman and Ollie (Tobias) Fleming in Anderson. He was a graduate of Middletown High School, class of 1967. He received his Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine degree from Purdue University. He was united in marriage to Arlena Dillon in Middletown, Jan. 30, 1971. Nick had been a veterinarian in the Hicksville area for over 20 years. He was a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Nick is survived by his wife Arlena; two sons, Nathan and Graham; and one daughter, Caitlin, all of Hicksville. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Angela, and his parents. The funeral service is 2 p.m. (EDT) Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, Ohio, with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ken Wellman, First Church of Christ, Hicksville, will officiate. Friends and family may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday (EDT) at the funeral home.
