June C Fleming

June C. Fleming, age 72, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at St Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Perth Amboy, June was a lifelong resident of Sayreville.

For more then 30 years, June devoted her career to helping others as a counselor at the Middlesex County Juvenile Shelter, where her compassion, patience and strength touched countless young lives. Outside of her work, she found joy in sports especially cheering on her beloved New York Giants and Yankees teams, traveling, reading a good book or trying new restaurants. June will be remembered for her kind heart and love she shared with her family. She shared an especially close bond with her twin sister, Jane, whose life was intertwined with June's from the very beginning. Their connection was of constant love, support and understanding and it will forever remain in Jane's heart. June will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is predeceased by her parents, William Sr and Claire Fleming and her brother William Fleming Jr. Surviving are her loving twin sister, Jane Gulick; her nephew and godson Chris Gulick; her nephew Adam Gulick,; her niece Leah Ronan and her husband Christopher; her great nieces Olivia, Caylin and Madden; her sister-in-law Jean Fleming; and many cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a Prayer service at 5pm. A private cremation will follow.
