Thomas Wishney

Thomas Wishney, 91 of Marlboro, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Born Sunday, June 17, 1934 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Thomas was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Wishney.

Thomas was raised in Hopelawn, New Jersey, and was a graduate of Woodbridge High School. Thomas would begin a career with Prudential, eventually rising to Computer System Manager. It was there he would meet the love of his life, Marion Cicalese. They would eventually marry and settle in Sayreville, where they would raise their children. During these years Thomas enlisted in the National Guard, and served his country honorably. After retiring , Thomas and Marion moved to Marlboro.

Thomas was an outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time on his motorcycles and his boats, and later in life taking trips to Atlantic City. Thomas was extremely handy and was often relied upon to build/fix different things around the house. More than anything Thomas loved being surrounded by his family, and he will be deeply missed by all those that love him.

Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marion, who passed away in 2011, and by his brother Joseph.

Thomas is survived by his loving children, Thomas and his wife Donna, Cheryl Amato and her husband Joe, and Lisa Farley and her husband Thomas, by his cherished grandchildren, Kristy and her husband David, Linda Paone and her husband Mark, and Kevin Farley and his wife Brittany, by his adored great grandchildren, Stefania, Angelina, Dante, Thomas, and Andrew, and by his brother Robert.
