NORMA JEAN DELLINGER

NORMA JEAN DELLINGER, 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, with her family by her side. Born Dec. 30, 1933, in Marion, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Deloras and James Wolfcale. She was raised by stepfather, Leo Meadows after the early death of her father. She graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne in 1952. Later, she would work at the Chelsea Milling Company (Jiffy Mix) in Chelsea, Mich., and school cafeterias in Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan. Norma enjoyed spending time with her children, swimming, and playing cards with her many friends in Ohio and Florida. She is survived by children, Rick (Audrey) Dellinger of Green, Ohio, Sandy (Robert) Nye of Mansfield, Ohio, and Jay (Terry) Dellinger of Oregon, Ohio; grandchildren, Sydney Smith, Lily (Scott) Park, Andrew Dellinger, Stephanie (Chris) Rengstorf, Zach (Brandi) Huss, and Ashley (Nick) Grady; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Shirley) Wolfcale; and sister-in-law, Lillian Gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Richard Dellinger; her parents; and stepfather. "Norma will be truly missed as a loving, caring and devoted mother."
