Cousin Miles recently informed me of yur loved ones passing. My grandmother and Paully as we called him were first cousins. Her name was Alice Blanks/Taylor. I met Paul Blanks who we called Paully thorught my mother. They had becme reaquainted over the last ten years of her life she past in 2004 and he was there. But Paully continued to come to all of our functions in Cleveland whenever he was invited. I just want to thank the family for sharing him with us. Maybe one day before we alll get to heaven we can meet and greet each other. May God Bless and keep each of you. Your Cousin in Cleveland, As Always Avis

I was shocked to read of Paul's death upon my return to Fort Wayne. I was not aware that he had an immediate health problem; I assume his death was related to heart in that the American Heart Association is a preferred memorial. My only knowledge of Paul was as a fellow prostate cancer victim. Paul was very active in our support group. He participated in our testing events at Parkview Field and was one of our crew that went around Northeast Indiana last fall erecting blue ties and banners for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Although I didn't know him well, I know that he had a deep and abiding faith, and a true love of both his family and his fellow man. There is not much better you can say about a man than that. He will be sorely missed by many.
