To the Schall Family,

Uncle Paul had a personality that would fill any room. His laughter was contagious and his big, booming singing voice was a joy to hear. I remember one time when we were kids, a van-load of us were driving back from Milwaukee visiting Sister Pat and Uncle Paul wanted to stop near Chicago. While the van was being refueled, we learned why he wanted to stop: Uncle Paul came walking out of the Baker's Square store with a big ol' pie. He did have a sweet tooth.

I used to joke with him that he was my role model...next to Bugs Bunny. He always got a laugh out of that and would ask from time-to-time if he was still my role model. I would answer, "Of course...next to Bugs Bunny." which would bring out a big ol' laugh.

We'll miss Uncle Paul, his laughter, and his love. We're all better for having known him. God bless you all.

To Chuck and the Schall family,

I will always remember the warmth and welcome that Paul always gave me. We would have so much fun sharing silly jokes and just hanging out with no agenda down in Florida. I want to express condolences from Martin and myself and I pray that your grief eventually gives way to fond and loving memories.
