Rafaela Quintero Obituary

Rafaela "Rafa" Sanchez Quintero
January 13, 1930 – June 27, 2025

Rafaela Sanchez Quintero, lovingly known as “Rafa,” was born on January 13, 1930, in Jiquilpan, Michoacán, Mexico. On June 29, 1962, she married the love of her life, Alfredo Quintero, and together they raised four children. Her greatest joy came from her growing family, which eventually included six beloved grandchildren who brought her endless happiness.
Rafa’s greatest passions were caring for her family and finding beauty in life’s simple pleasures — especially tending to her roses, which bloomed as vibrantly as the love she shared with all who knew her.

A woman of deep faith, Rafa lived her values through grace, humility, and compassion. She was a resilient woman who persevered through life’s challenges. She was known for her gentle spirit, patient heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome — whether through a warm meal, a kind word, or the peace of her presence. Her grandchildren will always remember her as the heart of the family, and her memory will continue to guide and inspire them with her love.
She is survived by her four children: Eleanor, Patricia, Leticia, and Alfredo, and her six grandchildren: Brittney, Brianna, Katarina, Xavier, Mia, and Desiderio.
