RICHARD KRIEGBAUM Obituary

RICHARD FRANKLIN KRIEGBAUM, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at The Towne House Retirement Community. Born June 4, 1926, in Huntington, Ind., he was a son of the late Albert S. and Edith M. (Minton) Kriegbaum. He was a graduate of Purdue University and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After working in Chicago at Harvester for 12 years he operated Kriegbaum & Sons Farm Equipment, Huntington, Ind. Surviving are his children, Mary Jane (Ed) Stepro of Marion, Texas, Gail Ellen (Wayne) Gorry of Payson, Ariz., Donna May (Tom) Weber of Wake Forest, N.C., John Albert (Sharon) Kriegbaum of Arvada, Colo., and Richard Alan (Michael) Kriegbaum of Allyn, Wash.; brother, Charles A. (Susan) Kriegbaum; sister, Sarah Sue (Richard) Guhl; 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosmarie H. (Hedrick) Kriegbaum, in 2004. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory, Marion, Ind.
