Robert Clymer Obituary

ROBERT JONES CLYMER, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, in South Haven, Mich. Born March 7, 1914, in Peru, Ind., he was the son of Garland and Ruth Jones Clymer. He was a member of Summit City Masonic Lodge 170 F&AM, The Exhausted Roosters, and Grace St. Johns United Church of Christ, Fort Wayne. He was the Sales Service Manager at Wayne Pump and retired from Magnavox after 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Anna Burns Clymer; sisters, Frances Ensley of Southern Pines, N.C. and Marilyn (Don) Trier of Louisville, Ky.; daughter, Myra (Steve) Hogan of Bloomington; son, David (Cathy) Clymer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Lauretta Elnor Kinney; brothers, Joseph Clymer and John Clymer; son, Robert D. Clymer; grandson, John Ryan Hogan; and great-grandson, Cody Foster. Service is noon Thursday in the Bond Chapel at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace St. Johns United Church of Christ, 4120 Webster St., Fort Wayne, IN 46807.
