ROGER SCHRADER Obituary

ROGER A. SCHRADER, 77, a lifelong resident of Union Township, Whitley County, died on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014. Surviving relatives include his wife of 54 years, Lucille C. "Lucy" (Yates) Schrader; two sons, Chuck Schrader and John Schrader, both of Columbia City; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Clifton Schrader of Oregon, Jack Schrader of Columbia City, Franklin Schrader of Evansville, Frederick Schrader of Nevada and Richard Schrader of Arizona; and two sisters, Ellen Strong of Fort Wayne and Dortha Feller of Illinois. Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home by the Whitley County Korean War Veterans Honor Guard. Condolences to smithandsonsfuneralhome.com
