Ronald Magsamen Obituary

Ronald L. Magsamen, 75, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on August 22, 2025, He was born March 10, 1950 in Elkhart, IN. He graduated from Central High School in 1968. Ron worked at Essex for 52 years. He married his high school sweetheart Julie, on August 28, 1971. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2023. Ron was an avid sports fanatic and played sports. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ron is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Chad) Parrish and Rita Santure; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Richard) L'Heureux, Devonna (Mark) Wilson, and Tabatha (Steve) Petty; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Julie preceding him in death are his father Joseph Magsamen, mother Donna Johnson, brother, and nephew. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave, Ft Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery.
