RUTH H. JORDAN

RUTH H. JORDAN, 76, passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born Aug. 18, 1940, at Methodist Hospital, Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Charlotte C. (Bashelier) Wuttke. She was a graduate of St. Paul's Lutheran grade school and South Side High School. She retired from Lincoln Life Insurance Co. Ruth was an avid reader and loved tutoring the younger children at the Hessen Cassel library branch. Ruth married Joseph F. Jordan in December of 1989; he preceded her in passing in 2005. Surviving are brothers, Rudolph (Magdalen deceased) of Fort Wayne and Karl (Bonny) Wuttke of Lynchburg, Va.; significant other, Rick Perkins; dear friend, Anne Perkins, and extended family. She was also preceded in passing by brother, Paul (Phyllis deceased) Wuttke. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1125 Barr St., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice memorial fund.
