Steven Ringenberg Obituary

Steven R. "Steve" Ringenberg, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on July 6, 2024, he was born on November 10, 1948 in Fort Wayne. He graduated from South Side High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Regional Manager at General Telephone. In retirement, Steve operated his own private investigation firm, Ringenberg & Associates LLC. In his free time, he enjoyed lake life, boating, fishing, range shooting, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family. Surviving family include his children, Daniel (Marcia) Ringenberg and Jennifer (Andrew) Ritchie; grandchildren, Landyn, Abbigail, Lea, and Mariah; and siblings, Susan (Allan) Miller, Cheryl (Orval) Plumlee, and Dennis Ringenberg. Steve was preceded in passing by his father, Elmer F. Ringenberg; mother, Adeline (Meyer) Knuth; his first wife, Judy Ringenberg; his second wife, Sharon Ringenberg; daughter, Tammie Ringenberg; and siblings, Karen Ringenberg and Louise Ringenberg. A celebration of life memorial service will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 2:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Humane Fort Wayne. Condolences and memories of Steve may be left online at www.hockemeyermillerfh.com
