SUZANNE BRONSON Obituary

SUZANNE MICHENER BRONSON, 42, of Hopkinsville, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 12:55 a.m., at her home of natural causes after a three illness. Born Sept. 4, 1971, in Adrian, Mich., she was the daughter of Jaqueline Michener Dever of Ft. Wayne and the late Earl Peck Michener. She attended Adrian Public Schools, graduated from Culver Girls Academy, Olivet College and received her Master's Degree from Austin Peay University in Kentucky. Suzanne was an educator for the Ft. Campbell School System and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 14 years, John F. Bronson Jr. of Hopkinsville, Ky.; son, John Michael Bronson at home; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bronson at home; stepson, Adam Bronson at home; stepdaughter, Megan Bronson of Connecticut; brother, Scott Michener of Adrian, Mich.; sisters, Pamela Day of Indianapolis and Michelle (Dan) Herlihy of Fayetteville, N.C.; stepfather, Jack Dever of Fort Wayne; stepbrother, Aaron (Kristin) Dever of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and stepsister, Laura (John Neiger) Dever of Fort Wayne. A Celebration of Life service is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. The Rev. Paige Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to her children's educational fund "Suzanne Bronson Children's Trust" c/o Planter's Bank, PO Box 1570, Hopkinsville, KY, 42241-1570. Arrangements by Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
