Mr Ashley and the entire Ashley family are in my prayers as your hearts heal. My childhood memories are better because of your family being a part of them. I had the pleasure of interacting with your Dad a bit in my adult like also. I always appreciated his gentle way, his sense of humor and his laugh.

Sympathy to the family .
I was one of the neighborhood kids at 763 Isabella. We had a lot of fun.

Dear Joanne and family, I was deeply saddened in hearing of the passing of Tom. He always had such a great big smile for everyone and was a joy to be around. I only wish we could have stayed closer over the years. I hope you and your family can get God's peace knowing that someday we will all be together again. God bless you and the family.

In 1943 two boys where born in Muskegon Michigan one Thomas Ashley lived at 694 Isabella Ave the other at 718 Isabella one house apart from each other and became best friends at an early age and remained that for life. In the 76 years never a bad word or friendship was said or done by either party as they grew up and had a lot of fun and did their share of mischief. Went to school everyday and graduated in 1961. The friendship never waivered after those years of childhood and remained strong into the new era of life, thru thick and thin and good or bad our friendship stood strong as steel. For those of us that knew Tom as the person was the best of the best husband to JoAnn, and the best father to their children, and the best friend to me. He may be gone from life but the memories will live on and one day we will meet again in heaven and greet us as we enter. He will be missed by all who knew him, and especially me his friend for life.
