TODD C. KELSEY

TODD C. KELSEY, 62, of Yoder, Ind., passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, surrounded by his family. Born March 5, 1961, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Duane and Carol (Sellers) Kelsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Cathy (Collett) Kelsey. Todd grew up in Roanoke and graduated in 1979 from Huntington North High School. A skilled tradesman in construction, Todd worked for many years for W & W Concrete and was also employed by Masolite and IMI. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 414 and the Sons of the American Legion Post 160. Todd loved working with his hands and was also an outdoorsman. He spent many happy hours tinkering in carpentry and projects, fishing and golf, and caring for his home and acreage. He would help anyone who asked and was often called upon by family and friends. A loving husband, son and brother, Todd will also be missed by his cats, Frank and Rusty. Also surviving are Todd's sisters, Valerie Holley of Fort Wayne and Laura Kelsey of Farmland, Ind.; and nephews, Dirk (Autumn) Holley, Ryan (Meggan) Holley and Brandon (Nicole) Holley, all of Fort Wayne; and many great nephews and great nieces. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Kelsey. Visitation is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at McElhaney Funeral Home- Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke (IN 46783). A Celebration of Life and dinner is 5 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at American Legion Post 160, 1122 North Main St., Roanoke (IN, 46783). Burial will be at a later date.
