TYLER A. TRAVIS

TYLER A. TRAVIS, 37, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at his home. Born in Fort Wayne, Tyler graduated from Northrop High School in 1998 and earned his Bachelor of fine arts degree from IPFW. He worked as a Finance Manager with Harold Chevrolet in Angola, Ind. His passions were drawing, painting, ceramics, and also writing poetry and music. Tyler had lived and worked in California as a prop master on various movie and television projects, including the 1000 Ways to Die televisions series. Tyler made many friends in his lifetime and was a very creative, talented, and kind person with an excellent sense of humor. He made life lighter, funnier, and more enjoyable for all who knew him, and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Surviving are his mother, Lorita Travis, father, Gary L. Travis; brother, Sam (Linda) Parker; maternal grandmother, Margie Guinn; aunt and uncle, Mary and Ron Roberts; cousins, Angie (Matt) Manes and Stacy Roberts, all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Guinn Jr.; and grandparents, Mardell and Rupert Travis. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by D.O.
