VICKI MESSMANN

The following obituary is being republished to provide information regarding services. VICKI MESSMANN, 65, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016. She was a beloved mom and grandma. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of E.R. Tony Hile and Henrietta Hile. She was a 1969 graduate of Central Catholic School. She retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools in special education routing. She attended Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping and going to her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time at the lake. Surviving are her mother, Henrietta (Brockamp) Hile; one son, Josh Messmann; two daughters, Carly (Justin) Craker and Sara (Rob) McInturf; five grandchildren, Brayden, Preston, Jaxon, Ella, and Avery; one brother, Randy Hile; two sisters, Angie (Bud) Wheeler and Amy (Julie Houser) Hile; and her beloved dog, Callie. She was preceded in death by her father; and one granddaughter, Ansleigh. Memorial mass is 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St., Fort Wayne with calling from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to service at the church. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at Fairhaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Most Precious Blood Athletic department or Perfect Paws Pet Rescue, Fort Wayne.
